PEARL RIVER CLAIMS FIRST SPOT AT THE STATE DUALS; PITTSFORD UPSETS FAIRPORT; #1 MINISINK TAKES DOWN S9 FOE MONROE WOODBURY

BANG BANG BANG!

In Division 1, Pittsford knocks off #5 Fairport on criteria. In a battle of ranked teams, #1 Minisink Valley flexed their muscles last Wednesday by defeating #11 Monroe Woodbury, 39-19.

Division 2:......AND NEEEEEEW Section 1 Division 2 Dual Meet Champions, The Pearl River Pirates. Kudos to the Pirates, who came in as the #3 seed. They would go on to defeat defending Section 1 D2 Dual Meet Champions Nanuet (#2 Seed) in the semi-finals and continued their winning ways by taking out top seed Pleasantville, 40-27 in the finale. Coach Donnelly's squad is the first time to clinch their berth into the NYS Duals in Syracuse in late January.
