Week 2 Hammer of The Week: Ryan Mosher (Holt)

HOME PRO ROOFING HAMMER OF THE WEEK

Holt senior Ryan Mosher, currently ranked #1 in the state, won the 2-day 34 team North Canton Holiday Invite in Ohio last weekend.  Mosher won a weight that included 5 Ohio state-ranked wrestlers and he did so in dominant fashion.  

He received 855 votes to win this week's Home Pro HAMMER of the Week!  Congrats Ryan!  A Michigan Grappler shirt will be mailed to Holt HS for his award.

• Josh Barr (Davison) - Barr, a 3x State Champion ranked #2 in the country at 170lbs, won the Carnahan Memorial in Crown Point, Indiana with a 7-2 win over the #7 ranked wrestler in the country Jarrell Miller from St. Edwards HS (Ohio)

• Luke Harrington (Gabriel Richard-Riverview) - Harrington, a freshman, won the 126lb title at the Wayne County Championships and was Tournament MVP.  Harrington, ranked #12 in D4, knocked off D1 #10 Wyatt Hepner (Grosse Point South) in the finals.

• Kole Katschor (Dundee) - Katschor, ranked #2 in D3, won the Monroe County Sheriffs Tournament with a 9-4 win over D2 #2 Timothy Simon (Carlson) in the finals after beating D2 #6 Jack Mills (Airport) in the semis.

• Jacob Marrs (Clio) - Marrs, ranked #5 in D2, won the Marquette Challenge, upsetting D2 #1 Brayden Gautreau (Gaylord) in the semis and knocking off Trenton Gibbons of Wisconsin in the finals.  He placed over D2 #2 Derek Badgley of Mason.

• Danni Swihart (Hanover-Horton) - Swihart won the Kestrel Invite and the Clinton Girls Invite last week, including a pin over #5 Raven Aldridge of Clinton.
