Week #7 Team Rankings

STARPOINT (D1) AND CHAUTAUQUA LAKE (D2) WIN SECTION 6 DUAL MEET TITLES; HEAD TO SYRACUSE IN LATE JANUARY

Out in western NY this past weekend, it was Starpoint and Chautauqua Lake earning their automatic berth to the NYS Duals. Starpoint was dominant from the start, going 3-0, and outscoring their opponents 170-42. Starpoint firmly holds the #2 ranking behind defending NYS Champions Minisink Valley.

On the D2 side, Chautauqua Lake-Westfield-Panama won their first S6 Dual Meet crown by upending the Panthers from Newfane, 40-31. They also defeated Falconer in the semi-finals, 42-22. CLWP currently sits at 4 in D2 rankings.

Section 9's Dual Meet Tournament kicks off this week. As stated, Minisink Valley is set to defend their S9 and NYS title. Coach Gallagher's nationally-ranked Warriors pack a powerful punch and have a solid lineup from top to bottom.

Sectional Dual Meet Tournaments will be taking place this month with ALL ROADS LEAD TO THE SRC IN SYRACUSE, JANUARY 28TH, 2023!
