#1 HUDSON DEF. #8 IRON MOUNTAIN, 62-18

As expected, Hudson controlled this one from start to finish, getting out to a 35-0 lead early.  Iron Mountain's McGuire and Stroud picked up a couple of really good individual wins at 132 and 165 pounds, respectively, while Hudson's Perry scored a top-two win at a weight above.

#4 NEW LOTHROP VS #5 MARTIN/CLIMAX-SCOTTS

Crazy one here as Martin scored a first-round upset over unbeaten New Lothrop, preventing the Hornets from advancing to the semis for the first time since 2009.  New Lothrop built an early lead but Martin picked up a huge pin at 113, flipping a result from earlier in the year.  A huge OT win from Bagwell at 150 lbs was followed up by a decision and two falls to close out the duals and give Martin their first semis appearance since 2006.

#3 BRONSON VS #6 MANCHESTER

Bronson took ten of 14 matches against Manchester, and was able to build some early momentum.  Of the six matches decided by decision, the Vikings won five of them.  With the win, they move on to face St. Louis in a fantastic 2 vs 3 semifinal tomorrow morning.

#2 ST. LOUIS VS #7 BENZIE CENTRAL

St. Louis jumped out to an early 33-6 lead after the first seven matches and that was enough to propel them past a very tough Benzie Central team.  The dual ended with an even 7-7 split and those early bonus points turned out to be crucial.
