Our partners at Michigan Grappler have announced that the Grappler Fall Classic, which has been a staple pre-season national tournament for over a decade, will once again be held the opening weekend of October in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The GFC has attracted thousands of wrestlers from all across the country each year since 2010 and has evolved into one of the most competitive national events of the year.
Georgia has well attended the event for the last few years including last year where DJ Clarke, Antonio Mills, Jake Crapps, and Dominic Bambinelli were all finalists in the Elite Division with Bambinelli winning the 152lb title.
The GFC will be a 2 day event again, however, for ease of travel all divisions will compete in one-day formats this year.
High School Elite, High School Varsity, Middle School, Elementary, Girls High School, and Girls Youth Divisions will all be featured again this year.
This year's event will be partnered again with Rudis for top of the line tournament apparel as well as champion awards. FloWrestling will be streaming the event live - every match on every mat.
For more information go to GrapplerFallClassic.com. Registration will open August 1st.
