NYS Team Rankings - By the New York State Sportswriters Association

The first New York State dual team rankings were released this weekend by the New York State Sportswriters Association (NYSSWA).

Topping the small school poll was Midlakes, followed by fellow Section 5 school Warsaw and Suffolk County's Mattituck.

On the large school side, Sachem East opened on top, followed by a pair of Section 9 squads that battled in a match that came down to criteria earlier this year - #2 Monroe Woodbury and #3 Minisink Valley.

At least four of the top 5 teams in Division I will compete at next weekend's Union-Endicott Duals, with 13 of the 16 squads in the field at UE included in these rankings. (We plan to have live coverage from the event).
