Fab 50 Update - Franco extends lead heading into MYWAY Regionals

FAB 50 UPDATE: FRANCO EXTENDS LEAD

8th grade stud Austin Franco of Lakeshore extended his Fab 50 lead with a Liberty Nationals Title on February 22nd as well as three 1st place finishes at region-level MYWAY events.

Also winning the Liberty Nationals in February to keep pace with Franco was Stoney Buell, Corey Gamet, and Kevon Davenport.  

Reigning Fab 50 Champ Dominick Lomazzo, along with Nathan Wysnma of Allendale, finished 3rd at Liberty to remain within striking distance.

Easton Turner, Talan Parson, Brady Benson, and Austin Fietz round out the current Top 10.  

Just 36 points separates #1 from #6 in the standings, so with all the points on the line over the next month, it is still anyone's to win.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE: THINGS HEAT UP WITH REGIONALS, STATES, AND MONSTER MEDAL AROUND THE CORNER!

The standings could be up for major shakeups in the next few weeks as the Fab 50 Schedule will go through its busiest month of the year.

The next three weeks feature back-to-back-to-back in-state events with a total of 34 points up for grabs over the course of the 3-week stretch.

MYWAY Regionals (silver) are going on this weekend all across the state, then the Border Wars Monster Medal Tournament (silver) will go down next weekend on March 22nd in Brighton, capped off by the MYWAY State Finals (Gold) on March 28-30 in Battle Creek.

The next month following the MYWAY State Meet will include big time national points up for grabs at the NUWAY Nationals in Battle Creek, Ohio Tournament Of Champions, and Viper Pit in Ohio, so even more changes might be in store for our Fab 50 Schedule.
