Recap: The Red Arrows have won 11 straight D2 state championships, and it does not look like they will be slowing down any time soon. They picked up a decisive 50-20 win over a scrappy Warren Woods Tower team. Tower picked up some impressive wins, including a Gumtown tech at 138lbs. Lowell will move on to see #4 Three Rivers in the morning.
Recap: Fantastic dual by Fowlerville to pick up the 2nd 7-seed win at the team state tournament over the last 10 seasons. They won the dual with bonus points up top, but they sealed it with some bonus points in the middle of the lineup with Loomis and Stankov. Freshman Liam O'Neil had a big pin up at heavweight to keep the momentum going. The Gladiators will see #3 New Boston Huron in the semis in the morning.
Recap: New Boston Huron looked phenomenal in their first-ever team state win. They jumped out to an early 17-0 lead, and while Linden would comeback to a 23-21 deficit, NBH put it away with two straight pins at 126 and 132. Hubbard put an exclamation point on the dual with a pin in the final match. The Chiefs will take on #7 Fowlerville in the semis.
Recap: In a rematch of last year's quarterfinals, it was Three Rivers getting revenge. Harper and Anglemyer both picked up huge pins while down in their matches, which helped Three Rivers jump out to a 23-0 lead. They would put it away down the stretch with bonus points from Babcock, Moreland, and Keller. Three Rivers is into the semis for the first time in program history. They'll see #1 Lowell in the morning.
