- Sabrina Nauss solidified herself in the top-5 for the state of Michigan with her 5th national championship in Fargo. She is tied for third with Andre Metzger and trailing only Brent Metcalf (7) and Adam Coon (6)
- Plainwell HS led the way this Fargo season with three All Americans (M. Nieuwenhuis, D. Nieuwenhuis, Gyorkos). Dundee was the only other school with multiple AAs (Cosby, Beaufait)
- Detroit Catholic Central HS continued impressive streak of having an All American in every year since 2009 (Grayson Fuchs). They have had 17 All Americans in that time
- Allen Park, LakeVille, Gladstone, Bronson, and St. Joseph had their first ever Fargo All Americans
- Team Michigan averaged 20 All Americans per year over the last 5 tournaments (2018 through 2023, with no tournament in 2020 due to COVID). This year, they had 22 placers

Fargo 2024 is officially finished, and Team Michigan had yet another success week at the toughest tournament in the country. 16U and Junior boys Greco saw three placers in each division for the mitten state. Plainwell led the way in 16U, seeing two placers in Greco. Dylan Nieuwenhuis and Austin Gyorkos both won their blood round matches to reach the podium for the first time in their Fargo careers. Frederick Hammond of LakeVille HS also had a big win in the blood round to reach All American Status. In the Junior division, three different high schools claimed an All American. Santana Ramon (Allen Park HS) reached the semis before wrestling to 6th place. Joining him for Team Michigan were Drew Hansen (Gladstone) and Landon Thomas (St. Joseph), who both won their blood round matches on Saturday morning.

Fargo 2024 is winding down, with the tournament finishing up tomorrow. Greco is today and tomorrow, with wrestling running through the Round of 16 today. There are a handful of Michigan Grapplers left at both the 16U and Junior level. JayDen Williams is leading the way again for 16U, cruising into the quarterfinals with two pins and a tech. Brock Foster has put together a great tournament thus far, also reaching the QF round. For the Juniors, Santana Ramon and Drew Hansen are in the quarterfinals, while Layne O'Neil will wrestle in the Round of 16.
Round of 16 finishes, and Quarterfinals begin, alongside the consolation rounds Saturday morning at 10am EST on Saturday. The finals will be tomorrow at 7pm EST.

In 16U, JayDen Williams followed up on last year's 3rd-place Greco finish with a runner-up finish this year in Freestyle. Williams was impressive in the semis, going up 10-0 before picking up the fall over Tsari (Maryland). In the finals, Williams dropped a 10-0 tech to #8 nationally ranked Aaron Stewart (Illinois). Michigan would have three others placers in 16U, including Grayson Fuchs, who kept the DCC Fargo All American streak alive. The Shamrocks have had an All American every year since 2009.
Layne Martin gave Rockford their first All American since Ben Bennett (champ) and Kyle Waldo (7th) placed in 2008. Dundee came away with a pair of placers, including Beaufait in 16U and Blake Cosby in Juniors. Lastly, Jarrett Smith (Lowell) followed up on his 1st-place finish last year as a Cadet with an All American finish this year as a Junior.

Two 16U boys have locked up All American honors by reaching the semis, which will take place Wednesday morning. Layne Martin at 106lbs and JayDen Williams at 165lbs both picked up big wins in the quarterfinals to secure their spots on the podium. Martin teched Woode (Hawaii) in just over a minute, while Williams won a 12-6 battle over 18-seed Kelly (Illinois). Martin will see Hayden Schwab, the son of Northern Iowa head coach Doug Schwab. Williams will see 3-seed Tsarni of Maryland. Williams fell just short of the finals last year, bringing home a 3rd-place finish. To improve on that finish, he will have to get through Tsarni, who went a combined 14-0 a few weeks ago at the National Duals.
There are 10 other Michigan Grapplers alive in the blood round, including 6 in 16U and 4 in Juniors. The blood round will take place in the morning session along with the semifinals.

Michigan continued their solid weekend on the final day of women's wrestling, ending the tournament with 2 national champions. The 16U squad finished in 4th place, while the Junior women ended up with a 9th-place finish. Kaili Manuel continued a stretch of dominance this season, winning a 16U Fargo championship at 148lbs. Sabrina Nauss was the champ for Junior women at 235lbs, giving her a 5th Stop Sign in Fargo, making her tied for third with legendary Andre Metzger in Michigan history. Only Brent Metcalf and Adam Coon ended their Fargo careers with more Stop Signs.
16U ended with 7 total placers, including Manuel as champ and Madison Nieuwenhuis and Cheyenne Frank taking 2nd. The Junior team ultimately had three placers, with Isabella Cepak having an outstanding tournament to reach the finals at 135lbs.
