Friday Night Highlights
- Josh Barr (Penn State, Davison HS) with an exclamation point on the Penn State vs Rutgers dual. Up 2-0 in the third period, Barr put on a takedown clinic to pick up 6 TDs and earn a 20-5 tech fall over #18 Poznanski
- Braeden Davis (Penn State, Dundee HS) also had a big win in the PSU/Rutgers dual, but his was a much tighter match than Barr's. Davis used a second period rideout and a third period escape to beat All American Dylan Shawver 2-1
- Caleb Fish (Oklahoma State, Eaton Rapids HS) went into Northern Iowa in a hostile environment and beat #4 Downey in a match that Oklahoma State desparately needed. After a first period takedown for Fish, Downey battled back to take a lead late. Fish got a controversial escape as time expired, with the controversy favoring Downey. Looked like Fish had clear reversal, but the refs gave an escape to send the match to OT. In sudden victory, Fish picked up a quick takedown to earn the upset and help lead the Cowboys to a big dual win
- Cam Amine (Oklahoma State, Detroit CC HS) was dominant in a 10-2 majored decision over a ranked Thomsen over Northern Iowa. Like Fish, Oklahoma State was in a spot where they really could use bonus points for the dual win, and Amine came in clutch
- Drew Heethuis (Princeton, Detroit CC HS) won his match for the second consecutive dual in 2025, this time in a 5-0 decision over Will Betancourt of Rider. While Princeton would go on to lose the dual, the win from Heethuis gave Princeton a temporary 16-10 lead over Rider
- Although it was against the Spartans, Derek Gilcher won his second consecutive B1G dual match. Down 4-2 with under 20 seconds remaining, Gilcher hit a peak out to pick up the 5-4 win over Michigan State's Ceasar Garza en route to a Hoosier win
