Hudson Super 16

This year's field is ridiculously loaded, with as many as a dozen ranked wrestlers in some weights. The tournament will run on 16-man brackets, but in at least half of the weights, there will be rattails to get in, as there are 20+ wrestlers in some weights. In total, there are 135+ ranked wrestlers across 14 weights, including 18 wrestlers ranked #1 in the state. Ranked teams in attendance include 10 teams in the Fab 50:

A few of our favorite weights to watch are 120, where Haines, Stewart, Rodriguez, and Gilbert are all state champs or finalists in the last two years, and 144 where we will see state champs Korponic, Buell, and Wilson, as well as the new top Freshman in the class Redmon of Dundee.

If Martinez and Katschor get passed Hammond and Johnson, we could see the rubber match of what has been a remarkable series between the #1s in D3 and D4.
